From a young age, my love for home decorating and fashion inspired me to pursue a degree in Fashion Technology. This passion led me to Rona Home and Garden, where I began my career designing kitchens and gained invaluable hands-on experience.
After joining Kitchen Craft, I shifted my focus to the renovation and remodel market, helping clients transform their homes into spaces they truly love. My top design tip? Don’t feel pressured to follow every trend—what matters most is that you love the space you live in.
The greatest reward in my work is seeing the happiness on my clients’ faces when their project is complete, especially when they share that the process was stress-free and enjoyable. (And yes, meeting HGTV celebrity Peter Fallico at the Home and Garden Show was a definite highlight!)

About Gary
Design that feels natural—where form and function work in unison
I started in the cabinetry world in 2014, and I’ve been hands‑on with kitchens and baths ever since. Before that, I spent five years working with a contractor, which taught me the build‑side realities that make great designs possible. From 2014–2019, I served as a Field Service Representative, gaining practical field and installation knowledge that I bring to every project.
In 2020, I moved into design and sales, combining technical know‑how with a passion for helping homeowners create spaces they love. I’m drawn to interesting, unique spaces—the kinds of rooms that invite problem‑solving to make a kitchen or bathroom look both beautiful and functional. In nature symmetry is rare and often man-made; my design eye gravitates to the 3–5–7 rule, asymmetry, and elements of Japanese design that create a visually harmonious and natural feel.
Most importantly, I love talking with homeowners to understand their hopes and priorities, then guiding them to choices that fit their lifestyle and budget.
My philosophy is simple: functionality and form should work in unison—never one at the expense of the other. If you’re ready to start, let’s design a kitchen or bath that feels effortless, looks timeless, and truly works for you.

I’m a proud graduate of the Cabinetry and Woodworking Technology program at Red River College, where my passion for woodworking naturally led me to a career in kitchen design.
When I begin a new project, I always imagine how I would use the kitchen myself. This perspective helps me share practical insights about layout and organization and allows me to tailor each design to fit my client’s unique needs. My goal is to ensure every customer ends up with a functional space they truly enjoy.
My favorite moments in the design process are both the first and last meetings. The excitement in my clients’ eyes when they walk through the door, ready to start their renovation, is always inspiring. Equally rewarding is standing together in their finished space after installation, knowing I’ve helped them achieve their dream kitchen.

Ever since I was a child, I’ve been obsessed with creating spaces that feel like home. While other children played with dollhouses, I grabbed a pencil and paper and started sketching my own dream layouts—without even realizing I was already space planning! That early passion led me to earn my Bachelor of Interior Design at the University of Manitoba, and I’ve been designing ever since.
With several years of experience, I know that the secret to great design is listening. Every client, every space, and every challenge is unique—and I love finding creative solutions that make a home both beautiful and functional. Nothing makes me happier than seeing homeowners light up when their new kitchen becomes the heart of their home, where memories are made for years to come.

I began my career at Kitchen Craft working in our manufacturing facility, where I gained invaluable knowledge and experience that prepared me for my current role as Sales and Design Manager of the Kitchen Craft Showroom. I truly love the culture and the people who make this place so special—my team is, without a doubt, my favorite part of the job.
Although designing isn’t part of my daily responsibilities anymore, I’ve always believed in full collaboration with clients. My goal has always been to ensure that every space reflects what the client truly wants. As a designer, I know how important it is to be flexible—setting aside personal preferences to help clients achieve their unique vision.
