My passion for kitchen design started at an early age. Of the magazines strategically placed on the coffee table by my mother in my childhood home, those that sparked my interest most featured stylish home interiors. This quickly turned into an obsession with renovation shows on the HGTV channel and fantasizing about my dream job of transforming outdated rooms into spaces that not only look stunning but also offer an enhanced lifestyle.
The best part of the design process is collaborating with the client on how to bring their vision to fruition. I love seeing how excited my clients get during the planning process whether it is a rendering of the proposed design or selecting materials that bring out their individual personality. With every unique client comes a uniquely styled space!
Out of all my projects, the one I’m most proud of was a renovation featured in Ottawa at Home Magazine. My client’s existing main floor was divided with a separate kitchen, living and dining room. I redesigned the space into an open concept that featured a huge island and cabinetry that extended into the dining room for a cohesive joining of once divided spaces. This fabulous transformation allowed the homeowners to cook and entertain family and friends the way they’ve always wanted.
